Tree Planting in Berkshire at Theale Golf Club

Theale Golf Course was designed and constructed by owner Mike Lowe and founded in 1996. It is set in 150 acres of the Berkshire countryside.

The course is located just north of Theale in Berkshire, close to Junction 12 of the M4 motorway.

IMPORTANT VISITOR INFOTake only photos. Leave only footsteps.

To keep the woodland as natural as possible we don’t label individual trees and we ask that visitors do not place their own plaques, labels, flowers, etc in the woodland. Each tree we plant should be seen as part of a natural woodland.

Before visiting this woodland, please read our Frequently Asked Questions page, which gives you helpful tips about your tree and visitor guidance.

The first phase of planting is close to the edge of course where it borders the motorway and Blossomend Copse. The new trees will act as a screen to help reduce noise from the road as well as helping to clean the air and provide a valuable habit for wildlife.

Public footpaths criss cross the course and one of the paths meanders through the newly planted area.
