We’ve planted so many trees here that there isn’t any space to plant more.
For the nearest alternative woodlands take a look at the Woodlands Locations Map.

IMPORTANT VISITOR INFOTake only photos. Leave only footsteps.

To keep the woodland as natural as possible we don’t label individual trees and we ask that visitors do not place their own plaques, labels, flowers, etc in the woodland. Each tree we plant should be seen as part of a natural woodland.

Before visiting this woodland, please read our Frequently Asked Questions page, which gives you helpful tips about your tree and visitor guidance.

This is a private woodland and can be visited by appointment only. Please email contact@eforests.co.uk to make an appointment.

The land is partly woodland together with some orchard and flower / veg growing areas.

It was a nursery for 100 years and not used for the last 60 years. It is a south facing plot of 8 acres with much community involvement, creative sustainable growing and rich in wildlife.

Public footpaths border 2 sides of the land and the public encouraged to enjoy the countryside as the owners enrich the diversity with a low impact, non chemical, no dig, permaculture approach.

The owners also have plans to deliver countryside skills and culture workshops as well as sustainable farming workshops.

The newly planted trees help to greatly enhance biodiversity and act as a haven and food source for wildlife.
