Tree Planting in Devon at Staracre Farm

Staracre Farm is 60 acres or former agricultural land in North Devon. Part of the land is being converted to a woodland, with a mixture of native broadleaf tree species, and a meadow.

IMPORTANT VISITOR INFOTake only photos. Leave only footsteps.

To keep the woodland as natural as possible we don’t label individual trees and we ask that visitors do not place their own plaques, labels, flowers, etc in the woodland. Each tree we plant should be seen as part of a natural woodland.

Before visiting this woodland, please read our Frequently Asked Questions page, which gives you helpful tips about your tree and visitor guidance.

This is a private woodland and can be visited by appointment only. Please email contact@eforests.co.uk to make an appointment.

Across the 60 acre farm, the owner is planting lots of new trees, including some as shelter belts.

A mixture of woodland and meadow are being created in order to improve wildlife diversity.
