Tree Planting in Suffolk at Brimwood Farm
Brimwood Farm is a small, Suffolk farm where the new owners are regenerating the land to create a business emphasising self-sufficiency, conservation and community.
IMPORTANT VISITOR INFO – Take only photos. Leave only footsteps.
To keep the woodland as natural as possible we don’t label individual trees and we ask that visitors do not place their own plaques, labels, flowers, etc in the woodland. Each tree we plant should be seen as part of a natural woodland.
Before visiting this woodland, please read our Frequently Asked Questions page, which gives you helpful tips about your tree and visitor guidance.
This is a private woodland and can be visited by appointment only. Please email geoff@brimwoodfarm.com (with the subject "Woodland Visit") to make an appointment.
Brimwood Farm was left unused for over two decades and the new owners are regenerating and rewilding the land.
As well as the new woodland the owners have sown and managed a 2.5 acre wildflower meadow over the past 5 years, planted a bluebell grove and begun putting up owl boxes across the land.
This new woodland connects to a neighbouring woodland, already managed for wildlife with birds of prey, deer etc. The planting area is about 3 acres and surrounded by rewilded hedgerows, that already provide a huge amount of habitat.
The newly planted trees will help improve the biodiversity of the area and provide a habitat and food source for wildlife.
