Tree Planting in Hertfordshire at Hatfield Garden Village
Hatfield Forest is being planted with a mix of native broadleaf species to improve wildlife corridors.
* THIS WOODLAND IS Temporarily Full *
We’ve planted so many trees here that there isn’t any space to plant more.
We hope to be able to plant here again in future years.
For the nearest alternative woodlands take a look at the Woodlands Locations Map.
IMPORTANT VISITOR INFO – Take only photos. Leave only footsteps.
To keep the woodland as natural as possible we don’t label individual trees and we ask that visitors do not place their own plaques, labels, flowers, etc in the woodland. Each tree we plant should be seen as part of a natural woodland.
Before visiting this woodland, please read our Frequently Asked Questions page, which gives you helpful tips about your tree and visitor guidance.
Hatfield Garden Village is a 17 acre parkland on the outskirts of Hatfield.
Since spring 2021, in association with local volunteers and Hatfield Council, EFORESTS have planted hundreds of trees and shrubs at Hatfield Garden Village.
Hatfield Garden Village currently has a selection of trees and shrubs around its perimeter. Some of the newly planted trees will line the pathway that meanders through the site.
The remainder will be planted through the park to help improve its biodiversity and provide shelter for wildlife.
