Tree Planting in Hampshire at Empshott Wood
Empshott Wood is a new woodland on part of Empshott Farm - a small family farm in the South Downs National Park.
* THIS WOODLAND IS Temporarily Full *
We’ve planted so many trees here that there isn’t any space to plant more.
We hope to be able to plant here again in future years.
For the nearest alternative woodlands take a look at the Woodlands Locations Map.
IMPORTANT VISITOR INFO – Take only photos. Leave only footsteps.
To keep the woodland as natural as possible we don’t label individual trees and we ask that visitors do not place their own plaques, labels, flowers, etc in the woodland. Each tree we plant should be seen as part of a natural woodland.
Before visiting this woodland, please read our Frequently Asked Questions page, which gives you helpful tips about your tree and visitor guidance.
This is a private woodland and can be visited by appointment only, to ensure biosecurity. Please email empshottfarm@gmail.com to make an appointment.
Empshott Farm sell produce that is free from chemicals, hormones, or medication.
Their eggs are from truly free range hens that roam outdoors under open skies, in fresh air and sunshine.
They also rear organic lambs on a pasture that does not use pesticides, herbicides or fertilizer.
You can order their produce at https://private-reserve.square.site/.
A wide variety of native, British trees species have been planted throughout the area, improving its biodiversity.
This will create new wildlife habitats and corridors as well as providing food and nectar sources for birds and other animals.
